Heart Mountain Interpretive Center

WWII Japanese Internment Camp Museum
Visitor Center on Lateral H-103 in Rocky Mountains near Ralston, WY
Heart Mountain Interpretive Center is a new museum offering a glimpse into the lives of the more than 10000 Japanese Americans who were confined below Heart Mountain throughout World War II. It features a beautiful color photography exhibit, a short informational film, and numerous exhibits that detail the history behind the site.
The museum is located roughly halfway between Cody and Powell on Road 19. A short distance further up the road there is the Setsuko Saito Higuchi Memorial Walking Tour and the Boiler House Chimney - one of the only remaining structures.
