This is a picture of Spruce Creek (top) flowing into Big Dry Creek, it was taken just 10 days before the Whitewater Fire complex burned through the area, this area is the MOST rugged and beautiful of any part of the Gila Wilderness. The picture below is Big Dry Creek upstream of Spruce creek, below the Golden Link Trail.

Most of the upper parts of Big Dry Creek and associated trails are no longer accessible, this rugged wilderness has now turned into REAL Wilderness, see attached Forest Service map. Note that other FS information confirms this.
