This trail is a half-mile long series of switchbacks and "stairsteps" that lead down to the base of Porcupine Falls. The trip down is very quick (10 minutes), but the hike back up can take considerably longer depending on the fitness of the hiker.

To get here, when traveling east on US14A, turn left onto forest service road 14, which goes to Porcupine Campground. Two miles after turning off US14A there will be a posted sign showing to turn left onto FSR133 for Porcupine and Bucking Mule Falls. After 1.3mi, turn left at the major junction onto the Devils Canyon Road and follow it for 3.8 miles until the trailhead is on the left.

When traveling west on the highway, turn right onto the Sheep Mountain Road and follow it until the junction with Devils Canyon road.
