Upper Geyser Basin Trail is an interpretive trail on Myriad Creek and Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park.
A visit to Yellowstone is not complete without walking the Upper Geyser Basin Trail. The Upper Geyser Basin is home to an extensive collection of some of Yellowstone’s best thermal features, including the world’s most famous geyser: Old Faithful.
The length of the journey varies depending on which loops you take, but it is roughly 1.5 miles one-way to Morning Glory Pool (one of the most colorful pools) from the starting point at Old Faithful. Its best to allot several hours to wandering around the thermal area.
