Offline Maps
Many great places outdoors have spotty or non-existent cell service, which makes having a map that works offline essential.
Whether you are navigating by phone or by more traditional means, Natural Atlas Plus gives you tools to stay oriented when far away from cell service.
Downloading Maps
Offline map downloading is super easy in the Natural Atlas app. From the offline maps page, simply tap the “blocks” that you want available and they will automatically download. Each block contains all the tiles you need to navigate an area. There is no need to try to figure out which map scale you are interested in – all of them are automatically bundled together and downloaded at once.
By upgrading you can store 300 blocks on your phone at a time (per map) which is plenty to fully cover your favorite areas so you have some peace of mind whenever you lose cell coverage.

Printing Maps
We love print maps and there may be times when you would rather pull out a map on a piece of paper than rely on a phone. With Natural Atlas you can easily browse your the area of interest, press print, and it will give you a pdf – complete with the grid of your choice, map scale, and magnetic north.
