Berry Creek Falls
Hiking
The trail to Berry Creek Falls leaves from the park headquarters and takes the better part of a day to complete the loop. The trail winds it’s way through groves of California Redwoods until you reach Berry Creek and it’s namesake falls. Further up the trail is Golden Falls which runs some length and is basically a series cascades that provide a nice cool down on hot days. Taking the connector trail on the way out provides better views as the falls will be in your view as you ascend the trail along Berry Creek. Upon completion enjoy a beer at the snack bar before heading on your way.
As of June 2017 many of the smaller and alternate trails are closed due to conditions. Wildfires followed by rain have taken their toll on the area. Most of the main trails appear to be open for use though.
