Spring Creek Canyon Trail

Beautiful Red Sandstone canyon

Trail on Spring Creek on Colorado Plateau, Spring Ck. Canyon WSA near Kanarraville, UT

A nice hike to a fairly narrow red sandstone slot canyon with many side canyons. After 2.5 miles there is a choke stone which involves some scrambling and the canyon ends shortly after that. Each of the side canyons requires climbing over obstacles and none is very long. If you have the right equipment it is possible to climb out of the main canyon to the hills above and on into Zion National Park.
