Grinnell Creek Trailhead
Trailhead
on
North Fork Shoshone River
,
Grinnell Creek
in
Shoshone NF
,
Rocky Mountains
near
Lake Village
,
WY
This is an unmarked, easy-to-miss trail off the North Fork Highway. Heading towards
Yellowstone
, park at the gate on the right side of the road immediately after
Sleeping Giant Picnic Site
(without blocking it). There’s only room for two or three cars. If riding a horse, come from
Pahaska Trailhead
instead.
On foot, head up the road and the trail will clearly branch off to the right and proceed up the canyon, along
Grinnell Creek
up to
Grinnell Meadows
.
