Fuji Mountain Trailhead

The Long Way to Fuji Mountain, But Access to Several Lakes
Trailhead on Gold Lake, Salt Creek on Waldo Snowmobile Trail, Fuji Mountain Trail in Willamette NF, Cascade Range near McCredie Springs, OR
This trailhead is the southeastern end of the Fuji Mountain trail. The trailhead at the end of Forest Road 5883 is a much better choice for climbing the mountain; this trailhead is better if your goal is Birthday Lake or the Island Lakes, or if you are doing a loop hike using the Mount Ray and Gold Lake trails.
