Drinking Horse Mountain Trailhead

National Recreation Trail "With Great Variety"
Trailhead on Bridger Creek in Rocky Mountains near Bozeman, MT
Right next to the popular College M hike across the canyon, The Drinking Horse Mountain Trail is a 2.4 mile loop to the Drinking Horse Mountain summit. "From willows and cottonwoods along Bridger Creek, to rocky outcrops, evergreen forest and wildflower-decorated hillsides, the Drinking Horse Mountain Trail offers great variety." The trail is short, but steep and rewarding. Benches are along the way, offering nice vantage points of Bozeman and Bridger Canyon.
