Frog Rock Climbing Area is a popular climbing destination close to Bozeman and Livingston and near Bozeman Pass. There are many different areas to climb with most faces containing bolts. The climbing area does have some freeway noise.

Getting There

The Frog Rock Trail is accessed via the Chestnut Mountain Trail. The fork to the climbing area is well marked and is approximately 1.2 miles in from the Chestnut Trailhead parking lot. The spur trail travels 0.9 miles until it reaches the climbing area.
