You can easily keep track of all of the cool places, posts, or user recordings that you like by simply pressing the star button on the page that you like. On place pages, you can pick a reason why you are starring that place so you can keep your starred places organized - separate places you want to go from the places you’ve been. You can star places both from the website and the Natural Atlas app.
Likes
If you just want to show that you like a particular place or a recording or post by some user, press the star button and it will add that page to your list of liked places, and it will send a notification to the person who created that note, trip, or post.
Places You Want to Go
If you want to keep a TODO list of all of the waterfalls, peaks, campgrounds, etc that you want to visit, press the star button and then choose the
“Want to Visit”
option. The place will automatically show up in the “To Visit” section of your starred places.
Places You’ve Been
If you want to create a pinboard of all of your favorite places to go, press the star button on a place and choose the
“I’ve Been Here”
. The place will automatically show up in the “Been To” section of your starred places and they will be plotted on the map.
