Imposing North Face of the Park

Pillar in Garden Of The Gods, Rocky Mountains, Front Range in Colorado Springs, CO

This massive tower forms the north face of the North Gateway Rock, rising directly above the main parking lot. One of the busiest places in the park, it’s still a must see to experience the Garden of the Gods. Best photographed from the north, it can lose its grandeur as a standalone feature when viewed from east or west.
