Oxford Peak

Peak in Caribou NF, Rocky Mountains near Oxford, ID
Oxford Peak is the 10th most prominent peak in Idaho with over 4,000 ft. of prominence. It sits directly on the Franklin/Oneida County line and is also the highpoint of both Oneida County and the Bannock Range as a whole. The peak is best climbed from the south via a very long ATV trail beginning in Davis Basin. Other approaches are also possible, including from the north via Cherry Creek. The mountain can be quickly climbed from the east but private property issues may come up.
