This 155-acre preserve with 2 to 3 miles of hiking trails is a great option for somebody looking for an easy to moderate and rewarding hike close to downtown Healdsburg.

The trail gently climbs through wetlands, oak forests, and rolling grasslands to great viewpoints of the surrounding landscape and the Russian River.

Dog Rules

Dogs are permitted on leash on the paved trails only. There is approximately a half of a mile of paved trail that leads to the Russian River Overlook.

Directions and Parking

The Healdsburg Ridge Trailhead is just a 10 minute drive outside of downtown Healdsburg. There is no designated parking lot; parking is on the side of the road at the Arabian Way and Bridal Path intersection.
