Wapiti Campground

Large Campground and Fishing Access

Campground on North Fork Shoshone River in Shoshone NF, Rocky Mountains near Wapiti, WY

Wapiti Campground contains 41 shady camping sites located in the trees along the North Fork Shoshone River.

Fishing is also available and parking is located at the north end of the campground right before the bridge that accesses Sweetwater Creek Road (FSR423). This road is closed from January 1st to April 30th to protect winter range.
