Moose Creek Flat Campground

Roadside Campground Along Gallatin River

Campground on Moose Creek, Gallatin River in Gallatin NF, Rocky Mountains near Big Sky, MT

Moose Creek Flat is one of the last campgrounds in Gallatin Canyon before reaching Yellowstone National Park to the south. It’s developed with a restroom, firepits, water spigot, and picnic tables.

River Access

At the north end of the campground is a large parking area for Gallatin River access (great for trailers). There’s no formal boat launch, but the bank is not steep – good for launching kayaks and other crafts.
