ID
Black Pine Peak is one of the most prominent peaks in Idaho with over 4,000 ft. of prominence. It is unclear whether it or Black Peak to the north is the highest in the Black Pine Range because they are nearly identical in elevation. Because of the open nature of the area the mountain can be approached from nearly any direction, however the best route is probably from the west. Both Black and Black Pine can easily be climbed on the same outing.
