The Mountain Lake campground supplies a more rustic woodland experience. Primitive toilets and restrooms are available in addition to a boat launch for fishermen; campsites can support RVs and trailers. Set up camp here and hike the lake or travel up the road to the top of Mount Constitution just a few miles away. Mountain Lake’s central location also makes its campgrounds a great starting point for biking the notoriously challenging Cold Springs and Twin Lakes trails. Make sure appropriate sites are available if you’re planning on bringing a camper. The Mountain Lake Loop trail is a suitable daily exercise and it connects to the Cold Springs and Cascade Falls trails.
